An Atlanta rapper is recovering after police say he was shot during an armed robbery over the weekend in South Florida.

Atlanta rapper Lil Deko was shot by robbers on January 4. He was admitted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s trauma center.

Dozens of social-media accounts reported Tuesday the victim was Lil Deko. He is expected to make a full recovery, police say.
