Renee Nicole Good’s wife, kids to get $1.5 million thanks to massive GoFundMe donation campaign
The fundraiser — which received $1,503,533 from about 38,000 donations — was set up Wednesday to support Good’s widowed wife and three children after the 37-year-old was shot dead when she plowed her SUV into the immigration officer who fired the fatal shot during a raucous protest in Minneapolis.
"Renee was pure sunshine, pure love. She will be desperately missed," wrote the organizers of the viral fundraiser.

A GoFundMe for Renee Nicole Good, killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, has raised almost $1M as tensions rise and protests erupt.
After Rourke slammed a GoFundMe set up on his behalf, his manager tried to clear up the confusion, insisting it’s real and was done with good intentions to help him get a new place to live.
As reported exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter, the account was created by Liya-Joelle Jones, assistant to Kimberly Hines, Rourke’s manager for a decade. Hines and Jones both told THR that the GoFundMe was created “with Mickey’s permission.”
