Authorities are trying to confirm the identity of a man killed Monday morning when he was hit by a freight train in Berkeley.

More than 30 freight train cars derailed in Kentucky early Tuesday, including at least one car that was actively leaking a dangerous chemical, authorities said. The derailment occurred around 7 a.m.
