Kahaani (IPA: [kəˈɦaːni]; transl. Story) is a 2012 Indian Hindi -language mystery thriller film co-written, co-produced, and directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

Kahaani is essentially the story of a heavily pregnant London based Tamil woman's search for her missing Bengali husband in Kolkata, underplayed exuberantly by Vidya Balan.
