This is our story – Valtra. A lot of times we are asked about the history of Valtra. Many have the impression of Valtra as a relatively new brand, even though our history actually dates back to 1832 in Sweden and 1951 in Finland. The forerunner of all Valtra tractors was unveiled in 1913 when Munktell launched the 30-40 model.
