As the moon reached its last quarter over the weekend, female crabs emerged and gathered in huge numbers along the shoreline – sometimes 100 crabs per square metre! 🌕🌊 Just before dawn, during the turning high tide, the crabs released their eggs into the sea, and have begun their journey back to the forest. 💃 Keep an eye out and tread carefully!
