Lt. Col. Richard Cole was the last surviving member of the Doolittle Raiders. He co-piloted alongside then-Lt. Col. James Doolittle during a pivotal mission on April 18, 1942. That mission would help turn the tide for the allies in the Pacific theater of World War II. In 2016, Airman Magazine sat down with Mr. Cole to discuss the legacy of the Doolittle Raiders.
