SRP helps ‘Light Up’ Diné homes The Salt River Project on April 5 dispatched two crews to the Navajo Nation to support the Light Up Navajo VI initiative, joining line workers from 44 utility companies across 20 states. Fourteen SRP employees worked to connect homes in remote areas of the Nation - where approximately 75 percent of all U.S. households without electricity are located - to the power grid.
