The Massachusetts State Police Command Staff and Marine Unit were honored to join the Charbonnier family as we dedicated the newest vessel in our fleet, Marine 57 "The Charbo", named after Trooper Mark Charbonnier. Trooper Charbonnier of the 69th RTT was tragically killed in the line of duty during a traffic stop in Kingston on September 2, 1994. "The Charbo" will enable our Marine Unit Troopers to support more offshore missions along the Massachusetts coast. Each time an MSP member steps aboard
